Gert Bögels was born in Holland. She got her degree in drawing and painting at the Academy of Fine Arts “Minerva” at Groningen, specializing in portraits. Subsequently she got her master degree as an Art teacher. Since then she has worked as a portrait painter and an Art teacher in various techniques; drawing, watercolours, acrylics and oils. She did several commissions of portraits, among wich professors of the University of Nijmegen and Groningen. (Publication in the book: “In Vol Ornaat” RUG). Various publications in the art magazine “Atelier” (Doelenpers). Chapter “Faces” in the book “Tekenen en Schilderen” of Teleac-NOT (Television company). After several trips to Italy to study decorative techniques, she moved to northern Italy. In the last ten years Gert has also developed Art Therapy projects for older people with dementia. Gert Bögels is geboren en opgegroeid in Nederland. Gediplomeerd in tekenen en schilderen aan de Akademie voor Beeldende Kunsten “Minerva” te Groningen. Aansluitend behaalde zij de “Eerste Graads Onderwijsakte Tekenen” aan dezelfde akademie. Gespecialiseerd in portret heeft ze diverse opdrachten uitgevoerd, waaronder portetten van professoren voor de Universiteiten van Nijmegen en Groningen. (Publicaties in het boek “In Vol Ornaat” RUG). Diverse publicaties in het tijdschrift “Atelier (Doelenpers). Hoofdstuk “Gezichten” in het boek “Tekenen en Schilderen” van Teleac-NOT. Tijdens diverse studiereizen naar Italië bestudeerde en beoefende ze decoratietechnieken. Ze woont momenteel in Italië, maar in de zomer verblijft ze in Nederland en is beschikbaar voor artistieke werkzaamheden. Als docente is ze actief met cursussen tekenen, aquarelleren, acryl en olieverf. Voor ouderen met geheugenstoornissen (dementie) ontwikkelde Gert een speciaal project (Creatieve Terapie) wat in diverse bejaardentehuizen in de provincie veneto met succes is uitgevoerd. Gert Bögels è nata e cresciuta in Olanda. Si è diplomata all’Accademia di Belle Arti “Minerva” a Groningen in Disegno e Pittura. In seguito ha acquisito il diploma di Insegnante di Disegno alla stessa accademia. Specializzata in ritratto ha eseguito varie commissioni fra cui i ritratti di alcuni Professori per l’Università di Nijmegen e Groningen (pubblicazione nel libro “In Vol Ornaat” RUG). Ha pubblicato vari articoli nella revista d’arte “Atelier” (Doelenpers) e il capitolo “Volti” nel libro “Tekenen en Schilderen” di Teleac-NOT, allegata ad un corso televisivo. Gert ha intrapreso vari viaggi in Italia per approfondire le tecniche di decorazione. Oltre ai ritratti realizza anche decorazioni su commissione. Momentaneamente vive nel veneto, ma trascorre l’estate in Olanda. Come insegnante è attiva con corsi di disegno, acquarello, acrilico e olio. Per anziani con difficoltà mnemoniche (demenzia) ha svillupato un progetto d’arte per il “ricupero autobiografico” che ha avuto successo in varie case di riposo nel veneto.
